On October 6th to the 9th we tried to get here to see the leaves change but the weather was quite warm, 85°.
The water was like glass and sleeping felt like we were on the trailer. We couldn't ask for better conditions for the holiday weekend.
We launched from Elijah Run Boat Launch, accessed by the Longhouse Scenic Drive in the Kinzua Region near Warren, Pennsylvania.
Take Route 59 from Warren and turn right just after the Kinzua Point Visitor's Center.

That's some beautiful scenery there. I love the transition from Autumn to Winter down here too.

Thanks for posting the pics for us all. Nice to see something different!

Cheers, Sean.

Thanks Mike. That sure brings back memories. I grew up near there (Smethport PA) and we used to boat and camp on Kinzau Dam when I was a kid. Back then many were "squatters" with camp sites left from year to year, semi-permanent tent sites, docks, etc. This was in the 60's. Makes me miss the fall there, but I sure love boating in the San Juan Islands of WA now.
