Tonight is the first time that I was able to get internet while on the boat at the marina. They have been working on it for a while. I guess the real reason for this post is to say Hi from the boat for the first time! We love this life!!

Verizon and others like Clearwire offer broadband cards that work great anywhere there is cell coverage.

They're only $60/mo and are the cats meow.

I agree with SomeSalior, my Verizon card works great in the Bay or at the dock...

I guess the pavement doesn't lead to anywhere I really want to be.

No. But you may want to check into your carrier's air cards. They all have them now. They cost around $50/mo.
