Just was wondering how hard it would be to replace the two back to back seats with two bolster seats in a 17ft capri

I ordered pre-sewn covers and am in the process of that project. In addition to these B.O.C. forums, I gained a lot of insight from YouTube videos. I'm pretty sure while browsing there that I saw several on the back to back seats. There are videos covering everything from removal/ reinstall to fabing from scratch and a wealth of tips. I'd suggest with what ever you decide to do, give the below seat structure and surrounding/ usually "covered up" area a good inspection to make sure you'll have (or need to add) enough structure to support the possible different loads since the seat design may differ and (from experience) address anything else you see with the seats removed and you have extra working room.
Good luck and welcome to B.O.C!
