Hi all, I am new to this forum. I owe a 2015 Bayliner Element, purchased 2nd hand with 5hr on the motor from NY and dragged it all the way to NC :). I love the boat so far but i would really like to get a Ski/Wakeboard tower for it, I really do not care if its the curved tower or the pole one. Can someone send me the right direction of where i could purchase one or if someone on here has one for sale? Thank you!

Congrats on the boat.

Check ebay, you should be able to get one in the 400-600 range for the element. Most are range or universal fit, so you may have to do a lot of measuring before dry fitting and drilling.

Where in NC are you boating ?

Thank you!

I have checked ebay and they dont really have anything except covers for the 2015 Element. I would like to get one for the boat, not really an universal one.

I take it to High Rock in Lexington or Belews Lake.

I was hoping someone in here would have one for sale.

I'll see you at either one of those Lakes.

I'll keep an eye out for a tower.
I have a 185 Flight series (hasn't been splashed yet) which comes from the factory with a tower; even the factory one is a universal fit from Monster Wake Towers.

I guarantee the Element's sport arch is from a vendor, and I would call Bayliner and find out who, and how you can order one. That's really the only thing that will fit an Element.

No need. Call Bayliner's customer support people directly. Since the boat is still in production this should be an easy question for them to answer.

Just as an FYI, the tower from Bayliner will run you about $1200 plus shipping.

As an alternative option (that I did for my boat), I had one fabricated at a local marine shop, installed for about $650. Looks and functions exactly like the factory, just half the price.

On top of that, the dealer told me that the towers they have been getting from Bayliner have required some "tweaking" out of the box...as in placing them in a hydraulic press to open them up because they are not big enough.

I'm sorry, but if I am going to pay $1200 for an accessory it should at least fit right...

Great! Would it be possible for you to post few pics of the tower you had made, and where it bolts on to? Thanks!

Hello,

First time posting on the forum.

I recently bought an Element and it didn't have the "Sports Arch" added when ordered by the dealer. I figured I would worry about getting the tower at a later date and proceeded with taking the boat as is. My dealer did confirm that MonsterTowers/Xtreme Towers Products does manufacture the sports arch for Bayliner, but stated they wouldn't sell it to the public. My dealer wanted $1900 for arch....uninstalled so I'm at a crossroad. I'm having a hard time swallowing the idea of paying $1900 for a bent piece of aluminum.

Any feedback on the OEM arch or an after-market alternative would be appreciated. I will investigate a local fab shop, but I'd prefer the "factory" sport arch.

To add, completed 3-hour motor break-in on the Element yesterday. I realize the boat is not desirable by all, but for 16k out the door.....great little boat for a small family or 3-4 adults to play around on. I wanted a boat that would fit in my garage and get me on the lake for less than 20k and the Element fit the bill and was truly the only option for size, cost, and boat weight.

Hi, I just purchased a used 2013 Element with the stock ski tower. I uninstalled it because the boat with the tower didn't fit in my garage. Not sure I'm going to keep it. Using the boat mostly for fishing. Make me an offer, may consider selling it. Regards, Robert

Robert,

Thanks for your reply. Would it be possible to send me the height measurement on the tower? From what I've read, Bayliner mistakenly added the tower option in 2013 without realizing the tower was too tall to fit in standard garages. In 2014 or 2015 they sports arch design was modified with a hinge so it can fold down and fit under most garage doors. Long story short, I think the non-hinged style tower may cause and issue with fitting in my garage too.

see here you might be on to something....buy this early "too tall" version, find a shop that can TIG weld and have them fab you up some mounts that allow folding like the later factory version ( I have this and fits n the garage nicely when folded) or even easily removable.

Its about 4" to tall for a standard garage.Tower from ground with standard tires: 86"

Garage height: 81 1/2"
Tower vs Garage: 4 1/2" to clear

Options:
Lower bunk: gain 2 1/4"
Remove top replace with removal ball gain: 3 1/2"
12" Tires gain: 4"
Have welder shorten

Not sure I'm going to keep it. Might be good to have if I ever sell the boat. Don't plan on using it much. Maybe my older kids. In that case, I will put it back on or shorten it.
