As anyone who knows me realizes, I'm just a crappy cook. I'll occasionally pull one out on the barbecue, but for the most part people run if I even walk into the kitchen.

I did manage to stumble onto something yesterday though.

I was going to cook some hamburgers on the barbecue on the boat, but realized at the last minute I didn't have hamburger buns. Hot dog buns yes, burgers, no.

So I took the ground beef and rolled into more or less a fat sausage. Even put some cheese in the middle. Through them on the barbecue, rolled em around as they were cooking and presto...burger dogs with cheese. Even fit nice in the dog buns. One of my best creations. (hence you can see how bad I am in the cooking world)

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I mentioned this to Tara, and we talked about it, thinking maybe add an egg to hold it together, then add a bit of italian sausage, starting to sound like meatloaf, yeah, that's it! Add ketchup and lipton's onion soup mix, meat loaf! Now, what to call it, meatloaf dogs, meat-wienies...
