This is how we added a house battery to our 3488. Modifying the electrical system in this fashion put the house loads where they belong, on the house battery. The engines each have their own dedicated battery.

The house battery automatically charges when either engine is running. The wiring from the house battery to the fuse panels was upgraded to #6AWG to minimize the voltage drop.
