transpixel Photo of transducer from inside the engine compartment. When you cut the faring block to fit the deadrise of the hull, the "other half" goes inside the boat. transpixel

transpixel 2859 hull core sample. This photo is taken of the 2" dia core that I removed from the hull of my boat for a sonar transducer installation. It was taken approx. 6" port of the keel. If anybody tells you that Bayliner hulls are thin, they don't know. As the photo shows, this core is a full 11/16" thick, and is solid fiberglass. If it was any thicker I would have had to order a extra long stem transducer. This bayliner may not be the most elegant boat on the market but it is a strong, seaworthy boat. transpixel
