Bare engine hatch, removed from the boat, upside down.

Filling the small rectangular holes. I used spray adhesive to stick the "pink stuff" to the hatch.

Covering with heat insulation. The foil is attached to the hatch with bunch of screws with plastic washers (left overs from my sheet metal shed that had been blown away into the field by a strong storm some time ago).
